How does it work?

Purchasing and using a gift card is actually very easy, but we have included a run down of the process should you wish to reference.

Purchasing the Gift Card.

What to expect when purchasing our Gift Card. This is an electronic gift card and not a physical product. An e-gift card will be emailed with a discount code to apply to a subsequent purchase. Please see images listed with this item to see a visual representation of the process.

When you begin the checkout process you will be asked if you want to “Email to Recipient” or “Email to You” the gift card. (See image.) Select your preference by clicking the box.

Complete the checkout transaction.

After purchase you will receive an email order confirmation as proof of purchase for the gift card regardless if you send it to yourself or to a recipient.

Based on who you wish the gift card to be emailed to, the recipient of the gift card will receive an email stating they have received a gift card along with who it is from, the amount, a short message, and a “Redemption Code”. (See image.) Please make sure to keep this redemption code (save your email) and don’t lose it as the codes are not generated or viewable on our end.

Using the Gift Card

Visit the Rugged Circuits store and select the items you wish to purchase. Proceed to the checkout.

In the “Order Summary” section, the redemption code can then be entered into the “Gift or Discount Code” box. Click “Apply” (See image.) This shows the order summary and the gift card discount. Note you will need to enter the gift card redemption code in payments, so you can choose to skip this step if you wish.

After hitting “Apply” the gift card will show up just below the discount code box with details, and show any remaining balance.

Enter your specifics-shipping information, email, etc.

In section “4. Payments and Discounts” re-enter your redemption code. Click “Apply”. (See image.)

Your gift card value discount has been applied.

Then…ENJOY your new gift!
